On June 22, 2025, two individuals from Indiana were taken into custody by the Missouri State Highway Patrol following a traffic stop that led to multiple charges.
Samantha I. Beard, 36, of Colfax, Indiana, was arrested on several felony counts. Authorities allege she was in possession of methamphetamine, hallucinogens, and drug paraphernalia. Beard is also facing charges for felony tampering with evidence and littering.
Also arrested was 28-year-old Nathan L. Lock of Monon, Indiana. Lock faces a misdemeanor charge for driving while intoxicated, in addition to possession of drug paraphernalia and a minor traffic violation.
Both Beard and Lock were booked into the Greene County Jail and later released with upcoming court appearances scheduled.
